malta is a local faith-based, non-profit organization, which reaches out to the homeless in southeastern Connecticut. Our goal is to help men and women retain or regain a sense of dignity and hope in their current circumstances.

We accomplish this through the Malta Street Ministry and the Malta Transitional Living Center which provide:

• Loving encouragement
• Food, clothing, toiletries & bedding
• Spiritual guidance
• Long-term mentoring
• Vocational guidance
• Personal counseling
• Transitional housing
• Life skills training

Malta does not receive government funding, relying on individual & corporate donations and private grants.
